# Drive Participant Engagement and Save Staff Time with the Program Participant Portal Template

Give participants secure self-service access to their programs, applications, enrollments, benefit assignments and disbursements, and referrals, so they can engage when and where it’s convenient for them. The new Program Participant Portal Experience Cloud template includes preconfigured pages, navigation, and components, so staff spend less time on routine inquiries and more time on high-value work.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Program Management and Track Applications are enabled. It’s available in Nonprofit Cloud and Education Cloud with the Program and Case Management for Experience Cloud add-on.

**Who:** Users with the Create and Set Up Experiences user permission can create and configure the site. Participants who are assigned the Program and Case Management for Experience Cloud permission set can access the site.

**How:** In Experience Builder, create a site. From the template picker, select Program Participant Portal. Customize the branding, navigation, and pages to match your organization’s needs, and then publish the site.
