Stores that use the Vertex tax engine can now apply partial tax exemptions at checkout, which reduces errors and helps maintain compliance. Previously, a partial exemption caused a cart error. Store associates had to complete the transaction without applying the customer's valid exemption, risking overcharges and compliance issues.
