# Create Flexible Outbound Campaigns with Custom Templates

Build custom outbound engagement templates by selecting existing flows or campaigns or starting from prebuilt templates. Run flows that users can trigger directly from list views, so teams can send communications themselves without building a new campaign each time.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Outbound Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next.

**How:** From the Outbound Engagement Templates home page, click **Create**. Select **Build from scratch** to design a custom template and select the applicable flow or campaign, or select **Use a prebuilt template** to start with a prebuilt template for user-triggered messaging.
