Everything That’s New in the Salesforce Mobile App

Our latest round of new and improved Salesforce mobile app features makes it easier to access Salesforce on the go.

The new Salesforce mobile app is available for all editions, except Database.com, without an additional license. Your org’s Salesforce edition and licenses, as well as a user’s assigned profile and permission sets, determines the Salesforce data and features that are available to each user.

  • Accelerate Meeting Follow-Ups with AI Suggested Actions
Move customer conversations forward with AI-generated suggested next steps. After a meeting transcript is available, the Salesforce mobile app presents a meeting summary, key decisions, and contextual next steps directly on the event record. You can review follow-up recommendations such as sending requested materials, updating an opportunity, or scheduling another meeting.
  • Leverage Hybrid Cloud and On-Device AI Audio Processing
Capture every meeting detail reliably by using hybrid Cloud and On-Device audio processing for In-Person Meeting Assistant and Post-Meeting Voice Notes. This option uses Cloud AI by default for maximum accuracy and broad language support, then automatically falls back to On-Device AI during connectivity loss to keep your transcription running smoothly.
  • Capture Post-Meeting Insights with Voice Notes
Get critical, post-meeting context on the go with Post-Meeting Voice Notes in the Salesforce mobile app. You can record a quick voice note immediately after any meeting that wasn’t transcribed. Because it’s a single-user feature, there’s no need for verbal consent workflows. The app automatically attributes the audio to the logged-in user and handles transcription entirely on-device, syncing the text directly to Einstein Conversation Insights.
  • Use the Login for Admin Option in the Salesforce Mobile App for Secure Access
Meet new security requirements with ease using the Login for Admin option in the Salesforce mobile app. This new menu option enables phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) by using advanced, browser-based authentication. When you log in as an admin, you can use passkeys: the fastest and most secure way to access your org. Simply enter your username, and the app prompts you to verify your identity with a passkey or password.
  • Enable Agentforce Voice for Employee Agents in the Salesforce App (Generally Available)
Employee agents in the Salesforce app can now hold voice conversations with your users, giving field teams a hands-free way to handle two common moments: Pre-Visit Prep and Post-Visit Updates. Turn on Agentforce Voice for an agent by adding voice settings directly in the agent — no additional connection setup is required. Once enabled, your users see a voice option in the Salesforce app, with built-in mute and end-call controls for use while driving.
  • Access Your Schedule Hands-Free with Siri Shortcuts
Quickly view your schedule, review recent conversations, or record meetings using voice commands with the new Siri Shortcuts integration. You can now ask Siri to display your upcoming or past meetings without opening the app. You can also launch meeting transcriptions right from those displayed events.
  • Screen Rotation Now Supported on Android 17 Tablets
The Salesforce app now rotates smoothly on Android 17 tablets, fitting both horizontal and vertical screens. The app interface automatically adjusts to portrait or landscape mode as users rotate their tablets, ensuring a continuous visual workflow without requiring admin configuration.
  • Update Your Branded App for Stronger Mobile Security
To defend against stolen-credential and token-replay attacks, Salesforce is enabling Refresh Token Rotation (RTR). Because refresh tokens keep users signed in without re-entering passwords, updating your app for RTR support ensures their access remains secure and uninterrupted.
  • Control Which External Domains Can Frame Your Visualforce Pages
External domains can frame your Visualforce pages or surveys in an inline frame (iframe) only when you add them to an allowlist. To let a trusted site load a Visualforce page or survey in an iframe, add its domain in Session Settings and set the iframe type to Visualforce Pages. Domains that aren't on the allowlist can't frame your pages.
