# Personalize Content in Channels with Scripting Support

Use AMPScript and Handlebars scripting to build personalized, dynamic content in your SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, in-app, and push notification messages. Type scripting expressions directly into the text areas of each channel builder, and reference personalization strings and data extension fields to tailor content to each recipient.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
