# Load and Query Marketing Object Data at Scale with Bulk API

Run high-volume inserts, upserts, and queries on marketing object records using Bulk API. To manage marketing object schemas programmatically, use the Metadata API. If you use Salesforce APIs for other data operations, apply the same tooling to marketing data without adopting a separate integration path.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with the Salesforce Foundations add-on

**Who:** To manage object schemas via Metadata API, developers need the Manage Marketing Objects permission. To perform record operations via Bulk API, they need the Modify All Marketing Object Records permission.
