# Route Outbound Emails Through Your Own Mail Servers

Meet compliance mandates by routing marketing emails through your own mail servers instead of the public internet. Configure an email relay, assign sending domains, and authorize IP addresses. To maintain deliverability, email relay supports the full delivery lifecycle, including bounces, replies, and complaints.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
