# Launch Distributed Marketing and Alerts from Custom Lightning Web Components

As previously announced in Summer '26, an admin can now build a custom Lightning Web Component that opens the Distributed Marketing and Alerts window from anywhere in Salesforce. Previously, non-marketing users could open the window only from built-in areas in Salesforce. Now, to let non-marketing users send personalized messages in context from the same place they browse content, use the supported API to pre-fill the window with a specified audience, campaign, or flow.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with access to Data 360, and the Salesforce Foundations and Distributed Marketing and Alerts add-ons
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with access to Data 360, the Salesforce Foundations add-on, and the Distributed Marketing and Alerts or the Sales Emails and Alerts add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with access to Data 360, and the Salesforce Foundations and Distributed Marketing and Alerts add-ons
