Strengthen brand consistency with required phrases and character limits, and deliver approved email templates faster with prebuilt flow templates. Non-marketing users can find relevant templates with a dedicated agent, personalize multiple emails in one send, and scale outreach.
- Define Content Requirements for Distributed Marketing and Alerts
When setting up email templates, marketers can now set approved phrases as required so users choose one before sending. They can also prevent users from going over a certain character limit within an unlocked text block. - Deliver Email Templates Faster to Non-Marketing Users
Skip complex, manual configuration and get templates to non-marketing users sooner. Start from a prebuilt flow template that includes a Distributed Marketing and Alerts automation event and the necessary logic. - Personalize and Send Distributed Marketing Messages at Scale
To help non-marketers send personalized messages to more people in fewer clicks, Distributed Marketing and Alerts now includes these bulk-send enhancements. - Find Recommended Templates Using the Distributed Marketing Agent
To find relevant content to tailor and send, non-marketing users can use a new agent action to search for recommended email templates by keyword. - Launch Distributed Marketing and Alerts from Custom Lightning Web Components
As previously announced in Summer '26, an admin can now build a custom Lightning Web Component that opens the Distributed Marketing and Alerts window from anywhere in Salesforce. Previously, non-marketing users could open the window only from built-in areas in Salesforce. Now, to let non-marketing users send personalized messages in context from the same place they browse content, use the supported API to pre-fill the window with a specified audience, campaign, or flow. - Add Approved Attachments to Email Templates
Starting in November 2026, marketers can attach files to email templates. To make sure that important documents are always included in emails sent from templates, marketers can mark attachments as required. If enabled, Distributed Marketing and Alerts senders can also upload their own files from a content workspace.
