# Show or Hide Dependent Form Fields Based on User Input

Configure dependent field rules in Form Builder to show a field only when it's relevant. For example, when a user selects the United States in a Country field, a State field appears. Instead of maintaining separate forms for every audience or region, build one form that dynamically adapts to user input. If a user changes an answer that affects the dependent field’s relevance, the information is removed so that no contradictory data reaches your Flow or Data 360. Add up to 50 visibility rules per form, nested up to two levels deep.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with the Salesforce Foundations add-on

**How:** In Form Builder, give each field a label and a unique name. Select the field you want to show or hide, and in the rules tab, under Visibility Rules, select New Rule. Choose how you want conditions evaluated, pick a controlling field, operator, and a value.
