# Automatically Update Consent Data in Record-Triggered Flows

Use the Consent Request flow action in record-triggered flows to automate processes and manage consent more efficiently. For example, opt new leads into certain emails. Or, opt contacts out of a specific communication subscription when their related opportunity record is closed.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with:

- Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, or Premium editions with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
- Any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ edition with the Salesforce Foundations add-on
