# Model Product Dependencies Without Bundling

Use the Relies On relationship type to model dependencies between products and classifications while preserving each product’s price, term, and lifecycle. When a sales rep adds a product with a Relies On rule to a quote or order, Salesforce links it to an eligible related product. If multiple products qualify, the sales rep selects one. The relationship carries forward from quote to order to asset and persists through amendments, keeping product dependencies accurate throughout the customer lifecycle.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Media Cloud — Advanced.
