# Prevent Changes to Finalized Media Plans

Protect your finalized media plans from accidental and unauthorized changes. Configure the media plan grid and side panel to switch to read-only mode for specific quote statuses, such as In Approval or Closed. Also, turn off all create and update actions on the inventory and spot calendar grids and prevent users from adding placements to read-only quotes.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Media Cloud Advanced.
