# Marketing Cloud Next

Marketing Cloud Next offers several updates in Winter ’27. Changes include self-optimizing campaigns powered by Agentforce, better performance metrics, and expanded support for scripting capabilities and RCS messaging. Plan and operate marketing with flexible hierarchies, cascading goals, and built-in governance. Plus, automate tasks with completion actions in flows.

- **[Agentforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_agentforce.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Agentforce introduces two new marketing agents that automate personalized campaigns from strategy to content creation, as well as a new agent for handling high-volume lead generation and nurturing. Marketers maintain full visibility and control as the agents handle campaign orchestration and on-brand content generation across channels.
- **[Marketing Planning and Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_pln_oper.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Run marketing as one connected operation, from strategy to results. Build a planning hierarchy and align programs and campaigns to their business objectives. Set goals that cascade down to programs and campaigns and automatically roll up goal results across all hierarchy levels. Enforce brand and compliance standards, execute with reusable tactics, and move work forward with tasks, approvals, and Slack. See the whole plan on a calendar and watch results roll up to your company's targets. Marketing Planning and Operations is available with Marketing Cloud Next Advanced.
- **[Campaigns and Flows](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_campaigns.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Speed up workflows for your marketing team with completion actions, and improved visibility into campaign status and performance. Plus, get quick access to custom flow templates from the campaign record.
- **[Content Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_content_management.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Keep your marketing workspaces tidy when you delete folders and content in bulk. Establish a single source of truth for your brand with Brand Center and a unified brand kit. You can also personalize and report on content blocks with scripting, and create dynamic content that you can reuse across channels.
- **[Email and Messaging](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_email.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Test personalization content in emails by previewing as a recipient, fix tracked links in sent emails, and get more language support for email content. Use recommenders to personalize images that you include in emails, and monitor and fix deliverability issues in real time.
- **[Distributed Marketing and Alerts](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_dm_alerts.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Strengthen brand consistency with required phrases and character limits, and deliver approved email templates faster with prebuilt flow templates. Non-marketing users can find relevant templates with a dedicated agent, personalize multiple emails in one send, and scale outreach.
- **[Channels](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_channels.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Send more effective RCS messages and report on their performance with expanded channel support and tooling. Target audiences on mobile with flash messaging, and reach WhatsApp customers with usernames when their phone number isn't available.
- **[Audiences](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_audiences.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create new actionable lists directly from a campaign and update consent data with a record-triggered flow. Plus, get improved preference page customization.
- **[Marketing for Retail](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_retail.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Configure retail triggers so marketers can launch ready-made journeys for milestones, reengagement, and replenishment. Drive new customers and sales by delivering a unique coupon code to each recipient.
- **[Reporting and Analytics](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_data.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
More powerful reporting is now at your fingertips with B2B Analytics for Marketers. Plus, get SMS performance metrics when you view an active flow, and enjoy improved click rate reporting with bot detection.
- **[Setup and Admin](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_setup.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
It's easier than ever to enable and manage features in Marketing Cloud Next with Salesforce Go. Enjoy more control over marketing objects, streamline your web tracking setup, and more.
- **[Development & APIs](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mktg_apis.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Extend Marketing Cloud Next with developer tools for content and messaging. Use REST API to create, manage, and search CMS content across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and mobile app channels. Send emails to one or more recipients programmatically with the new Direct Email Send API.
