# Track Email Fragment Usage Across Your Field Team

See which email fragments your sales reps include when corresponding with healthcare professionals (HCPs). Report on fragment usage across email templates, products, and time periods to measure content effectiveness. Sending an email generates a Life Science Email Fragment record for each included fragment, capturing a snapshot of that fragment's version and content. Subsequent edits to a fragment don't affect existing tracking records, so you always have an accurate, auditable history of what your reps communicated.

**Where:** This feature is available in:

- Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with the Life Sciences Cloud license and the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement add-on license, and where the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement managed package is installed.
- Life Sciences Cloud mobile app for iOS (iPad only).

**When:** This feature is available starting the week of October 5, 2026.

**How:** From the Admin Console, select **Email**, and then select **Email Settings**. Under Tracking Settings, select **Track email fragment usage**. To use fragment tracking on the mobile app, set up an object metadata cache configuration for the Life Science Email Fragment object with this SOQL Filter Condition: `CreatedDate = TOMORROW`. On the object metadata cache configuration for Life Science Email Template Fragment, set the Attachment Download Method to **Cache**.
