# Seamlessly Import External Remediated Content into Life Sciences Cloud

Use the Content Ingestion API to ingest remediated content from external digital asset management systems into Life Sciences Cloud. The source-agnostic REST API loads prepared ZIP packages (CLM presentations), PDFs, and preconfigured email templates, while automating territory distribution and activation.

**Where:** This feature is available with the Life Sciences Cloud license and the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement add-on license, and where the Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement managed package is installed.

**Who:** Content Ingestion API is available to users with a MuleSoft Anypoint Platform subscription. Integration users require custom permission sets that are based on the Life Sciences Commercial and Salesforce API Integration licenses, along with access to the mapped Life Sciences Cloud objects and fields.
