# Manage Change, Releases, and AI Governance in One Place with Lifecycle Center

Next Generation DevOps Center is now Lifecycle Center. Bring governance, change and release management, and real-time analytics together in one place to manage your application lifecycle. Your existing projects, pipelines, environments, and work items continue to work as before under the new name.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. This change isn't available in Government Cloud Plus or EU Operating Zone.

**When:** This change is available on a rolling basis starting on September 28, 2026.

**Why:** As part of this rename, you can expect updates to the product name in your Setup menus and the App Launcher, along with terminology and documentation updates. Let's take a closer look.

Note In some orgs, Lifecycle Center may still appear as DevOps Center in Setup and the App Launcher during rollout. If you don't find Lifecycle Center, search for DevOps Center instead.

Here's a quick summary of the key name changes.

| We Used to Say… | Now We Say… | Meaning… |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Next Generation DevOps Center or DevOps Center | Lifecycle Center | The next-generation, natively built Salesforce product for change and release management, agent governance, and analytics |
| DevOps Center (Managed Package) | DevOps Center (Managed Package) | No change. The managed package product keeps its name. |

Finally, you can see the same updates and terminology changes in our documentation, including help topics, developer guides, Trailhead content, and more.
