# Build Embedded Apps in Your Preferred Web Framework

Salesforce Microfrontend (UI Embedding) works with standards-based web apps, so you can build the app you embed in the web framework you already use.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience, Experience Cloud LWR and Aura sites, and the Salesforce mobile app in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Developer, and Partner Developer editions hosted on Hyperforce where English is the default language.

**When:** This feature is available starting September 14, 2026.

**Who:** This change is for developers who build and host their own web apps and who can create Lightning web components.

**Why:** Reuse your existing skills and codebase instead of rewriting the app for a specific framework.

**How:** Because Salesforce embeds your app over a standards-based protocol, you can build the app with common web frameworks. Automated test coverage is React-based.
