# Reuse Existing Content by Cloning a Knowledge Article

Save time and maintain consistency by starting a new article from an existing one, copying its fields and attached files. Instead of recreating an article from scratch, you start from a proven structure and tailor it for a new context, product, or audience.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Knowledge add-on license.

**How:** Open a Knowledge article and click **Clone**. In the Clone Article dialog, set the title and URL name, choose whether to include attached files with **Copy attached files**, and select fields to copy under Article Fields.
