# Reuse Modular Content Across Articles with Knowledge Blocks

Knowledge Blocks are modular, reusable units of content — like a legal disclaimer or company address — that you create once and insert into any article as a managed, read-only block. When you publish a new version of a block, every article using it reflects the change automatically.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Salesforce Knowledge add-on license.

**When:** Knowledge Blocks is available starting on September 24, 2026.

**Why:** In most knowledge bases, the same content is copied into hundreds of articles, requiring you to find and update every copy when changes occur. With Knowledge Blocks, you can:

- Manage repeating content in one place. Enable Auto Update and Auto Publish on a block and a single publish propagates your change and republishes every article using it.
- Give knowledge authors a consistent single source of truth, so content stays accurate and uniform across your knowledge base.
- Give knowledge managers an audit trail of every change, with full version history for accountability and compliance.

**How:** In Setup, go to the Enhanced Knowledge Settings page and turn on Knowledge Blocks.
