# Help Employees Access the Portal in Their Preferred Language

Help employees use the Employee Services portal in a Salesforce supported language they prefer. Employees can switch the portal's display language themselves by using the Language Selector component. The interface language changes, but data in your records stays in its original language.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Agentforce IT Service. This feature is available for Employee Services portal sites that use the Agentforce Employee Center template.

**How:** First, in your Experience Builder site settings, add the languages that you want to support and publish the site. Then, in the Experience Builder, drag the Language Selector component onto the page so employees can change their language.
