Give your employees and fulfillers room to work with the out-of-the-box AI capabilities and integrations that support IT service use cases. The AI capabilities include Agentforce actions, prompt templates, and integration actions, along with their supporting MuleSoft for Flow connectors.This unmetered access applies to all MuleSoft for Flow connectors and to custom connectors built on MuleSoft for Flow. Assigned users work with these capabilities without affecting your org's AI Flex Credit or MuleSoft Automation Credit allocation. Custom agent actions you build or customize continue to draw from your credit allocation as usual.
Where: This change applies to both the AI Agents for Employees and Agentforce IT Service Desk licenses. For AI Agent for Employees, it applies to Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with the AI Agent for Employees add-on license. For Agentforce IT Service Desk, it applies to Enterprise and Unlimited editions.
Who: To use AI actions without affecting your org's credit allocation, employees need the Unmetered AI Usage for Employees permission set. Fulfillers who work on Service Desk actions need the Unmetered Base AI Usage for Service Desk permission set.
Why: Assigning this permission set helps your employees and fulfillers work with AI actions, related integrations, and MuleSoft for Flow connectors as part of their everyday tasks, including connector use cases that don't involve AI, instead of you monitoring credit consumption. Background AI processes that power core IT service functionality, such as automatic incident creation and Einstein-based assignment, run without affecting your credit allocation by default.
How: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users. Assign the appropriate permission set to your users based on their role. If your org previously used the global Unmetered User-Based AI permission set that was available as part of AI Agent for Employees SKU, assign the new Unmetered AI Usage for Employees permission set after Salesforce re-provisions your licenses.
