# Assess Regulation Coverage and Close Gaps with AI-Suggested Controls

See how well your existing controls cover each regulation and get AI-generated recommendations for controls that close the gaps. Controls Coverage breaks a regulation into its requirements, matches them to your controls, and displays a coverage rating with a detailed breakdown that surfaces what's missing.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Control Management and Agentforce are enabled.

**Why:** Knowing whether a regulation is adequately covered usually means manual, subjective mapping. With Controls Coverage, this process becomes explainable and repeatable for your compliance teams. Get recommendations for existing controls or new AI-generated control suggestions so that teams address coverage gaps with confidence.

**How:** Open a regulation and run a coverage analysis. Review the rating and the identified gaps, and then add a recommended control or accept an AI-generated suggestion to close each gap.
