# Author Policies with AI More Precisely and Transparently

AI policy authoring is now clearer and more transparent with two enhancements. With regulation traceability, you can trace every AI-generated policy clause back to its source regulation clause. And because regulation clauses are now visible before you select them, you can read a clause in full before you choose it. Together, these enhancements make AI policy authoring more precise and trustworthy, with fewer duplicate clauses and clearer choices.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Policy Management and Agentforce are enabled.

**How:** When you generate a policy, select up to 10 eligible regulation clauses. Only Published and Active clauses can be selected. Expand a clause to read its full content before you choose it. Each AI-generated policy clause now shows a citation that links it back to its source regulation clause.
