# Adjust Group Insurance Contracts Midterm as Customer Needs and Regulations Change

When customers request midterm changes, such as adding coverage or extending dependent eligibility, your reps can create an endorsement quote from a group insurance contract. For carrier rate adjustments or regulatory tax changes, they can include the revised terms and the date they take effect in the quote. After repricing the quote, they can finalize it to create the next contract version while preserving the earlier contract terms for compliance and audits.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Digital Insurance.

**How**: Use the Generate Quote from Insurance Contract API or set up a screen flow that invokes the Create Quote from Insurance Contract invocable action to generate an endorsement quote. Stage the amended terms and reprice the quote. Use the Endorse Contract API or set up a screen flow that invokes the Endorse Contract invocable action to finalize the quote and create the next contract version.
