# Generate Contract Transactions from Policy Transactions On Demand

Capture the financial impact of policy lifecycle operations at the contract level by rolling up eligible policy transactions and policy transaction details into contract transactions and contract transaction details. Process only policy transactions that haven't already been rolled up, so each rollup includes only new enrollments, endorsements, renewals, or cancellations and avoids duplicate accounting. Configure transaction detail granularity for summary reporting or more detailed financial breakdowns throughout the contract lifecycle.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Digital Insurance.

**How:** Invoke the standalone Contract Transaction Rollup API with a contract identifier. Set transaction detail granularity during quote-to-contract conversion, and the configured level is applied throughout enrollment, endorsements, renewals, and contract transaction rollups.
