# Clone Group Census Data to Compare Plan Configurations

Clone a group census and its related members, plans, and plan attributes in one asynchronous operation. Review and compare costs across different plan configurations for the same member or group of members before a policy lifecycle operation. Reuse census data across business operations for the same group without uploading the same data again later in the journey. Optionally use reference mapping from quote to contract or contract to quote.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Digital Insurance.

**How:** Use the Deep Clone API to clone the census hierarchy. To remap plans on an existing census without cloning, use the Field Mapper API.
