# New and Changed Invocable Actions in Insurance Claims Management

Check whether the user has sufficient financial authority to pay a payment detail record. Set loss and expense reserves when you create or update a claim, retrieve the current reserve amounts when you get a claim, and control pre-payment checks and retrieve remaining reserve amounts when you pay or make an ex gratia payment for a claim coverage payment detail, by using the updated standard invocable actions.

## New Invocable Action

Check whether the currently authenticated user has sufficient financial authority to approve a claim coverage payment detail record

Use the new checkFinancialAuthority action.

## Changed Invocable Actions

Set loss and expense reserve amounts and adjustment reasons when you create a claim

Use the updated createClaim action.

Set loss and expense reserve amounts and adjustment reasons when you update a claim

Use the updated updateClaim action.

Get the loss and expense reserve amounts for a claim in the response

Use the updated getClaim action.

Run financial authority and reserve-limit checks before payment, and get financial authority details and remaining reserve amounts in the response

Use the updated payClaimCvrPaymentDetail action.

Run financial authority and reserve-limit checks before an ex gratia payment, and get financial authority details, remaining reserve amounts, and warnings in the response

Use the updated payExGratiaClaimCvrPymtDetail action.
