Embed Your Multi-Framework App as a Microfrontend (Beta)

Surface a deployed Multi-Framework app inside Lightning Experience pages or Experience Cloud site pages as a microfrontend. With Salesforce Microfrontend, Salesforce hosts your app in a secure, sandboxed iframe and gives it a channel to communicate with the surrounding page.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Developer, and Partner Developer editions hosted on Hyperforce.

Note
Note Microfrontends in Multi-Framework apps is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

When: This change is available starting in September 2026.

Why: Embedding supports internal, employee-facing (B2E) apps that are served from the salesforce.app domain and built with React or Angular.

How: Write a thin Lightning web component that renders the lightning-ui-embedding base component and points its src attribute at your deployed app's URL. Then add that component to a Lightning page or an Experience Cloud site page.
