Designate the people and partners critical to your org's success on the Org Responsibilities page in Setup. Specify at least one Security Contact and Primary Admin Contact, and a Partner of Record if applicable. Salesforce uses this information for org- or account-level communications such as security notifications and product or success plan updates. If you don't provide assignments for all of the Org Responsibilities sections, Salesforce reminds you regularly when you go to Setup.
Where: This change applies to production orgs with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Industries Cloud, accessed through Lightning Experience in Essentials, Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. The Org Responsibilities page isn't available in sandboxes.
When: Org Responsibilities is available starting in October 2026.
Why: In October 2026, user interface translations for Org Responsibilities are undergoing in-app testing and aren't final, so review translations carefully to ensure accuracy. Visit Salesforce Help to learn more about user interface language support by cloud.
Who: Users with the Customize Application permission can manage Org Responsibilities.
How: From Setup, use the Quick Find box to find and select Org Responsibilities. Add, edit, or delete Security Contacts, Primary Admin Contacts, and Partners of Record as applicable.
If you provided Security Contact information on the Company Information page, that information automatically migrates to the Security Contact section on the Org Responsibilities page. The Security Contact field is removed from the Company Information page.
