Set Up Flexible Hierarchies with a Coding Agent

In a supported AI coding environment, describe the hierarchy nodes you need. A headless workflow then generates the hierarchy type configuration, including node definitions and relationships. Previously, you configured each definition and relationship individually in Setup. Use this workflow to set up hierarchy types for advisory teams, branches, or business units faster.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Unlimited and Agentforce editions with Agentforce Financial Services, and requires access to the Headless 360 MCP Server (Beta).

How: Connect an AI coding assistant to your org through the Headless 360 MCP Server (Beta), and ensure that your org is connected to Salesforce CLI. Describe your goal to set up a flexible hierarchy. The assistant turns on the feature and creates the hierarchy type, including node definitions and relationships. Review the generated definitions and relationships, make any necessary adjustments, and confirm to apply the configuration to your org.
