Field Service Mobile

Explore what’s new in Field Service mobile, designed to help mobile workers provide outstanding service.

  • Data Capture
Discover what’s new for Data Capture and Discovery Framework Based Data Capture.
  • Keep GIS Data On-Premises with ArcGIS Enterprise Support for Native GIS
Run Native GIS on ArcGIS Enterprise to keep your GIS data on-premises. Previously, Native GIS worked only with ArcGIS Online. Use the same maps, feature layers, and Esri licensing you already rely on, without moving your data to the cloud.
  • Send Field Service Technicians to a Custom LWC from a Push Notification
Custom notifications in the Field Service mobile app now support Target Page Reference, in addition to Target ID. Route your technicians to a specific destination—such as a custom Lightning web component tab—when they tap a notification. Previously, tapping a custom notification could only open a record page, so technicians had to hunt for the relevant tab or field.
  • Work in Arabic in the Field Service Mobile App (Beta)
Give your Arabic-speaking technicians a Field Service mobile app in their language. The app is now available in Arabic on both iOS and Android.
  • Show Only Applicable Work Step Actions
Turn off the Not Applicable action so your technicians see only the Work Step actions their process uses. When your business process recognizes only completed and not-started work, the Not Applicable action is clutter that technicians can select by mistake—sometimes breaking downstream automation. Now you can hide the action from the Work Step action menu in the Field Service mobile app with a single setting.
  • Alert Technicians to Emergency Dispatches with a Distinct Notification
Make emergency dispatches impossible to miss. When you dispatch an emergency appointment, technicians hear a unique sound and feel a strong vibration that sets the alert apart from routine notifications. Previously, every Field Service mobile app notification sounded the same, making critical dispatches easy to miss.
  • Boost Field Productivity with Native Salesforce Mobile Flows
Flows in the Field Service mobile app now run on native architecture, providing faster performance and stronger offline capabilities. Technicians get quicker load times, smoother navigation, and lower storage usage. Flow screens now match the design of standard record forms, so expect UI changes across many fields and controls.
  • Filter Out-of-Stock Products on the Products Consumed Tab
Technicians can now use the Include Out of Stock toggle on the Products Consumed tab to show or hide out-of-stock products, just as they can on the Inventory tab. Turn on the toggle to show out-of-stock products, or turn it off to hide them and save scrolling time when working only with in-stock items. Previously, this toggle was available only on the Inventory tab.
  • Update the Field Service Mobile App to Protect Against Stolen Tokens
Refresh Token Rotation (RTR) protects your Salesforce data by issuing a new refresh token every time the Field Service mobile app authenticates. This feature closes a gap where a threat actor tries to use a stolen token to access your org and your data. With RTR, a stolen token stops working almost immediately. This works in tandem with the previously announced refresh token idle security feature.
