## Field Service Release Note Changes by Month

We made these additions and changes to published release notes.

### October 2026

- **Field Service Mobile**: [Update the Field Service Mobile App to Protect Against Stolen Tokens](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_mobile_refresh_token.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Refresh Token Rotation (RTR) protects your Salesforce data by issuing a new refresh token every time the Field Service mobile app authenticates. This feature closes a gap where a threat actor tries to use a stolen token to access your org and your data. With RTR, a stolen token stops working almost immediately. This works in tandem with the previously announced refresh token idle security feature.") (Added the week of October 5, 2026)
- **Field Service Mobile**: [Filter Out-of-Stock Products on the Products Consumed Tab](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_mobile_out_of_stock_consumed.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Technicians can now use the Include Out of Stock toggle on the Products Consumed tab to show or hide out-of-stock products, just as they can on the Inventory tab. Turn on the toggle to show out-of-stock products, or turn it off to hide them and save scrolling time when working only with in-stock items. Previously, this toggle was available only on the Inventory tab.") (Updated the week of October 12, 2026)
    - Updated the When section to reflect that the feature is available from October and not from August, as previously stated.
- **Scheduling Console**: [Focus on a Single Crew in the Gantt](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_crew_filter_gantt.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Help your dispatchers focus on a specific crew by filtering the Gantt view to show only that crew's members. When your dispatchers coordinate a specific crew's work, they access the crew filter from the crew popover or a resource row. Your dispatchers dismiss the filter chip anytime to return to the full view.") (Added the week of October 12, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Stay Oriented with Smart Scheduling Console Defaults](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_scheduling_console_defaults.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Let your dispatchers automatically view today's date when reopening the scheduling console—eliminating manual navigation back to the present day. For time horizons up to 3 weeks, today appears as the first visible day; for 1 month or longer, the first day of the current week appears first. A blue circle marks today so your dispatchers can always find their bearings, while refresh keeps their active working view intact.") (Added the week of October 12, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Spot Holidays Across Territories and Resources with Gantt Visibility](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_holidays_gantt.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Holidays now appear as non-working time directly on the Scheduling Console Gantt, so your dispatchers can recognize holiday dates and understand why work cannot be scheduled during these times. An indicator marks each holiday; view the details to confirm which territory's Operating Hours record applies. This ensures your dispatchers know exactly which calendar they're following when scheduling across multiple territories.") (Added the week of October 19, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Focus Dispatchers on What Matters Most with Color-Coded Appointment Indicators](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_sc_color_palette.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Help your dispatchers focus on what matters most with clear, color-coded appointment indicators. Custom color palettes surface SLA risks, work types, customer tiers, and vehicle types across Gantt, appointment list, and map views. Visual cues let dispatchers spot urgent appointments and take immediate action without clicking into individual records, and switch palettes as operational focus shifts throughout the day.") (Added the week of October 19, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Bundle Service Appointments Directly in the Scheduling Console](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_bundle_service_appointments.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Dispatch appointments more efficiently by grouping related appointments that should be handled by the same resource into bundles. Dispatchers can assign and dispatch them as a single unit—right from the Gantt and list, without context-switching. A dedicated icon makes bundles instantly recognizable, and a popover displays all members. Dispatchers create bundles based on your policies with an intuitive modal, then track and manage them seamlessly alongside individual appointments.") (Added the week of October 19, 2026)

### September 2026

- **Agentforce for Field Service**: [Create a Customer Outreach Scheduling Agent in the New Agentforce Builder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_agentforce_customer_outreach.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Free up dispatchers to work on more complex tasks by getting Agentforce to reach out to customers to rebook appointments, or schedule maintenance appointments. The Field Service Customer Outreach Scheduling agent now also sends interactive reminders to customers about their upcoming appointments, reducing no-shows to save mobile workers time. You can also set up the agent to ask customers for confirmation to promote resource utilization, and handle cancellations to increase customer retention.") (Added the week of September 7, 2026)
Previously, this toggle was available only on the Inventory tab.") (Updated the week of September 14, 2026)
    - Corrected the short description and How section to accurately describe the Include Out of Stock toggle's behavior on the Products Consumed tab.
- **Field Service Mobile**: [Boost Field Productivity with Native Salesforce Mobile Flows](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_mobile_native_flows.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Flows in the Field Service mobile app now run on native architecture, providing faster performance and stronger offline capabilities. Technicians get quicker load times, smoother navigation, and lower storage usage. Flow screens now match the design of standard record forms, so expect UI changes across many fields and controls.") (Updated the week of September 14, 2026)
    - Added a When section noting the phased rollout across the 264 patch release, 264.1, 264.2, and 264.3.
- **Field Service Mobile**: [Keep GIS Data On-Premises with ArcGIS Enterprise Support for Native GIS](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_native_gis_arcgis_enterprise.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Run Native GIS on ArcGIS Enterprise to keep your GIS data on-premises. Previously, Native GIS worked only with ArcGIS Online. Use the same maps, feature layers, and Esri licensing you already rely on, without moving your data to the cloud.") (Added the week of September 21, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Visualize Multi-Day Service Appointments with Accurate Work Segments and Utilization](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_multiday_service_appointments.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Multi-day service appointments in Scheduling Console break down into distinct work, travel, weekend, holiday, lunch, and absence segments instead of rendering as one solid block, and totals appear on the service appointment tile, in the tooltip, and in the details panel. Utilization for multi-day service appointments counts only actual work hours, so the numbers match what. Lunch breaks are hidden inside multi-day bars for easier reading on long-running rows, and a dedicated marker distinguishes multi-day service appointments from short-cycle ones at every zoom level.") (Added the week of September 7, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Find Resources Faster with Flexible Gantt Filters](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_gantt_flexible_filters.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Let your dispatchers quickly locate the right resources by combining standard filters (Resource Type, Skills, Availability) with your organization's custom attributes. Custom filters are automatically generated from your Service Resource Filter Field Set, so no additional setup is needed at runtime. Dispatchers can also exclude resources with all-day absences to assign work only to those available to receive it, enabling more confident scheduling decisions.") (Added the week of September 7, 2026)
- **Scheduling Console**: [Reschedule Appointments Faster by Dragging Them Onto the Gantt](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_sc_drag_drop_gantt.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Move a scheduled appointment from the appointment list or the map directly onto the Gantt to reschedule it, instead of locating it there first. Drop it onto the resource and time slot you want, cutting out extra clicks and context switching.") (Added the week of September 7, 2026)

### August 2026

Previously, this toggle was available only on the Inventory tab.") (Added the week of August 24, 2026)
- **Field Service Scheduling Console**: [Start New Customers on the Scheduling Console](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_sc_default_new_customers.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "New customers automatically get the Scheduling Console as their default dispatcher experience and can no longer access the Classic Dispatch Console. Existing customers keep their current Dispatch Console access.") (Added the week of August 24, 2026)
- **Field Service Scheduling Console**: [Orchestrate Complex Work Chains Seamlessly in the Scheduling Console](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_complex-work.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Easily manage complex work chains and dependent service appointment sequences right on the Gantt. Visual chain indicators and dependency popovers clearly show how appointments link together, while moving an anchor appointment automatically shifts downstream steps. Outside the Gantt, dispatchers can search and bulk-edit chains across territories. A wider side panel displays multilevel dependencies, and clear unscheduling options make it simple to update a single appointment or an entire chain. Additionally, AI-assisted error messaging pinpoints broken links to speed up fixes, while map and list view highlights ensure chained appointments are instantly recognizable. The result is faster schedule resolution, reduced downtime for field technicians, and a more dependable customer experience.") (Added the week of August 24, 2026)
- **Field Service Scheduling Console**: [Navigate Long-Term Schedules Effortlessly in the Scheduling Console](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_long_views.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Boost operational flexibility and drive business efficiency by planning schedules up to 6 months in advance in the Scheduling Console. The console moves beyond fixed limits with standard 2-week views, 1-month layouts, and up to 3 custom views. Interactive ruler navigation streamlines drill-downs to save dispatch effort. Optional ISO week numbers and flexible weekend settings keep teams aligned, prevent double-booking errors, and protect non-working days.") (Added the week of August 24, 2026)
- **Field Service Scheduling Console**: [Access Actions Easily from the Right-Click Menu](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_fieldservice_264_sc_right_click_menu.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Get to the actions directly from the right-click menu.
