# Assign Milestone Owners for New Connections

Distribute the workload across your team by assigning and reassigning milestone owners directly from the Milestone Tracker component. Quickly change task ownership with a single action, and automatically notify the new owner by email. Use entitlement processes to automatically assign milestones to the appropriate teams when connection applications are created.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions with Energy & Utilities - Growth.

**How:** On the Individual Application record page, select a milestone or task in the Milestone Tracker component and change the assigned owner.
