# Assign Connection Milestones Based on Application Programs

Keep new service connection applications on track without manual setup. When you create an individual application record, Salesforce automatically generates and assigns milestones based on the associated program. Applications across different service types, geographies, or regulatory classes automatically receive the correct milestone set. You can create SLA policy, milestones, and actions and assign the created SLA policy to a new utility connection.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions with Energy & Utilities - Growth.
