# Keep Field Generation Responses Focused on Business Use Cases

By default, field generation follow-up refinement requests aren't validated to ensure relevance to business requests. This means users can make unrelated, non-business requests within the field generation panel. To steer users back to your specific business goals, turn on the new Validate Field Generation Refinements setting in Setup. This limits the agent's focus entirely to field generation-related activity, ensuring your Einstein credits are spent only on relevant business use cases.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Foundations and the Agentforce for Sales or Service add-on, or included in Agentforce 1 Editions. Generative AI is available in Lightning Experience.

**When:** This feature is available starting in September 2026.

**Why:** To customize how field generation responses are refined under this new setting, use the new \[Prompt Template Label\] prompt template. With it, you can change the model used for response refinement or adjust response parameters to better fit your business needs.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Setup, and then select **Einstein Setup**. Make sure that Einstein Setup is turned on in your org. In the Prompt Builder Settings section, turn on **Validate Field Generation Refinements**.

To use the new prompt template, in the Quick Find box, enter Prompt Builder, and select **Prompt Builder**. Click the Validate Field Generation Refinements template. You can use the template as-is, or save a new version of it if you want to make customizations.
