Azure OpenAI o3 family and o4-mini model requests will be rerouted November 11, 2026.

  • o3 is being replaced by GPT-5.6-Sol
  • o3-pro is being replaced by GPT-5.6-Sol
  • o3-deep-research is being replaced by GPT-5.6-Sol
  • o3-mini is being replaced by GPT-5.6-Terra
  • o4-mini is being replaced by GPT-5.6-Terra

We recommend that you test your prompts and applications with the new model in Prompt Builder and AI Models as soon as possible, because expected responses can change.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with an Einstein for Sales, Einstein for Platform, or Einstein for Service add-on.
