# Upgrade Einstein Bots to Agentforce Service Agent (Generally Available)

The Upgrade Agent tool, previously available in beta, is now generally available. Use the tool to convert an Einstein Bot to an Agentforce Service Agent. The tool creates the new agent separately, so your existing bot remains available while you review and configure the new agent.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. Setup for Einstein Bots is available only in Lightning Experience.

**When:** This change is available on a rolling basis starting the week of July 27, 2026.

**How:** Access the Upgrade Agent tool on [Agentforce Labs](https://labs.agentforce.com/upgrade-agent) or through Claude Code.
