Configure the application experience that applicants see, and offer it in their preferred language. Show or hide fields such as Campus or Academic Term on the Application List and Application Details pages, set their labels, and give applicants a direct link to their application decision. Enable translated values for application data such as academic terms and learning programs to serve diverse student populations without maintaining separate applications for each language.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where the Education Cloud license is enabled.
Who: Users with the Education Cloud Full Access permission set can configure the application components and manage translated values. Applicants with Education Cloud for Experience Cloud Access can view the components and their translated content.
How: In Experience Builder, open the Application List or Application Details page to show or hide fields such as campus, academic term, and application deadline, override their labels, and show or hide the progress bar. Existing sites keep their current display until you change a setting.
To offer application data in other languages, turn on Data Translation, and then create translated values for objects such as academic terms, learning programs, learning courses, and application stages. Enter translations directly on each record with the Translations related list, or translate many records at once with Translation Workbench. The system displays values based on the applicant's locale, and falls back to the original value when no translation exists.
