# Give Customers a Smoother Conversation Experience in Enhanced Chat v2

Enhanced Chat v2 now delivers a smoother, easier-to-follow conversation experience. When a customer sends a message, it stays in view while the response loads instead of scrolling out of sight, so customers can read replies in context. The avatar now appears above the Send Message text field for a cleaner layout.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

**When:** This change is available starting the week of August 31, 2026.
