# Send Data Transformation Results to Virtual Objects

Save the output of CRM Analytics or Data 360 runtime definitions to Apache HBase-backed virtual objects and view records in your Salesforce org. Previously, you could write back target data only to standard and custom objects.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Data Processing Engine is available.

**How:** In your definition, add a Writeback object node with an Apache HBase-backed virtual object as the target object. To match records correctly, choose the virtual object's external ID field as the mapping field.
