# Reliability Changes in Data Processing Engine

Run Data Processing Engine (DPE) definitions faster and with greater data integrity from data sources such as Data 360 objects, Salesforce objects, and CSV files. Track runs that finish with partial failures. In Monitor Workflow Services, a definition run and its tasks show the Completed with Failures status when a run finishes but contains unprocessed or failed records, such as a data sync that completes with record-level failures. Prevent the deactivation of active runs. You can’t deactivate a definition while a run is in progress.

**Where:** These changes apply to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
