Start a working search experience in minutes instead of building one from a blank configuration page. Prebuilt templates for search criteria configurations, searchable objects, and search result actions let admins instantly launch optimized search experiences, shortening time-to-value for end users.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Experience Cloud in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Criteria-Based Search and Filter add-on license (or the Criteria-Based Search and Filter for Experience Cloud add-on license for Experience Cloud users).
Who: This feature is available to users with the Criteria-Based Search and Filter system permission.
How: In Setup, search for and select Criteria-Based Search and Filter. Filter the list by Template records on any configuration tab. For search configuration and searchable object templates, open a template to review its details, then click Clone to create and activate your custom copy. For action configuration templates, click the dropdown and select Clone.
