Salesforce DevOps brings best practices to development teams, empowering developers and builders to collaborate and deliver high-quality applications. By using a repeatable and scalable process aligned with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles, your teams can accelerate innovation.
- Save Time by Importing Jira Work Items into Lifecycle Center
Connect your Jira workspace to import Jira work items into Lifecycle Center, removing the need to manually reenter work details. Once connected, search, filter, and bulk-import work items while retaining their original summaries and descriptions. Lifecycle Center creates corresponding work items that maintain a permanent reference back to their original Jira work items, ensuring full traceability between systems. - Manage Change, Releases, and AI Governance in One Place with Lifecycle Center
Next Generation DevOps Center is now Lifecycle Center. Bring governance, change and release management, and real-time analytics together in one place to manage your application lifecycle. Your existing projects, pipelines, environments, and work items continue to work as before under the new name. - Govern Coding Agents at Scale with Lifecycle Center Governance (Beta)
Lifecycle Center Governance includes predefined policies organized by category. Policies are defined and managed in Lifecycle Center, then applied to coding agents in Agentforce Vibes. Each policy groups rules that define and monitor coding agent behavior. Each rule maps to enforcements—such as Code Analyzer checks—that apply automatically when enabled. Enable or disable individual rules to tailor enforcement to your org's needs. - Track Agentforce Vibes Usage in DevOps Center with Agentic Development (Developer Preview)
Use the Agentic Development dashboard to track and analyze Agentforce Vibes data from across your orgs. To access the dashboard, turn on the Analytics tab of DevOps Center. In the latest release of Agentic Development, you can access more granular data on model usage. Also, you can enable Developer-Level Insights (Developer Preview) in DevOps Center to see individual user analytics. - Catch Deployment Errors Early with Validate-Only Deployment
Run a validate-only deployment to find deployment errors, Apex test failures, and code coverage issues before you promote your changes to the target org. Validate-only deployment doesn't modify the target org or merge branches, so you can investigate and fix problems risk-free. When a validation succeeds and stays eligible, complete the promotion within 10 days without rerunning Apex tests.
