Before you run a bulk user creation for the Unified Employee License, defer sharing calculations to avoid performance issues or failures. Also defer sharing calculations before you update sharing rules that impact the All Restricted Employee User group. Updates can then be completed before Salesforce recalculates sharing access for every affected record.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
Why: Sharing calculations recalculate access for every affected record during any bulk update. For large user bases, this process can slow the update or cause it to fail. When calculations are deferred, the update can be successfully completed first.
How: Temporarily suspend automatic sharing rule calculations and resume them after you finish your updates.
