# Data 360 Engagement Timeline

The Data 360 engagement timeline is a new widget that displays engagement data in chronological order. It’s available on Account, Contact, Lead, and Person Account records. Admins can configure the widget by editing the record page and using the Lightning App Builder. To configure the timeline, you need access to Data 360 and the customize application permission. To see the data once configured, you must have a Data 360 license and access to the configured data space. This configuration doesn't support control-by-parent. Users must have explicit object-level access to the engagement objects to view records.
