# Add Product Media and Attachments from External URLs

Attach images, videos, and other files to a product by using an external URL instead of uploading files to Salesforce CMS. Previously, you had to store a media file in Salesforce CMS before you could add it to a product. After you set this option in your org settings, it applies to all stores in your org.

**Where:** This change applies to B2B Commerce.

**How:** In Commerce Setup Assistant, under Additional Setup, select **Use External URLs for Product Media**. This setting applies only to product media. Continue to use Salesforce CMS for category media.
