# Pass Custom Gateway Metadata in a Pay Now Payment Flow

Merchants can now add their own metadata to a payment link and match transactions to their invoices, order numbers, or internal IDs. The Custom Metadata field on the Payment Link object passes details, such as an invoice ID, to your payment gateway. Merchants can then later reconcile these details against the accounting system.

**Where:** This change applies to B2B Commerce in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Salesforce Payments.

**How:** To include your custom metadata, in Flow Builder, customize the Generate Payment Link flow.
