# Create Accruals that Align with Your Rebate Programs

Model accruals that reflect real rebate programs instead of forcing them into a single calculation type. Calculate granular rebate accruals across different program structures, including flat, tiered, and growth-based calculations, powered by the Data Processing Engine (DPE) on Data 360. When a rate updates mid-period, accruals adjust automatically and the updated totals appear in the accruals summary for Finance to review.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions where the Channel Revenue Management add-on and Data 360 are enabled. The add-on works with either Sales Cloud or Industry Anchor Sales licenses, and the relevant Data 360 license is required to use DPE on Data 360.

**Who:** This feature is available to users with the Rebate and Accruals Management Advanced permission set.

**How:** In Setup, enable the Rebate and Accruals Management Advanced preference, or set it up from Salesforce Go. Configure your accrual structure at the Rebate Program level, and use DPE on Data 360 to run high-volume accrual calculations.
