# Use Shortcuts in Activation to Simplify Attribute Selection and Filtering

Reuse attribute shortcuts from segmentation when you add attributes and filters in activation. On the activation canvas, your marketers select preconfigured attributes without navigating complex data model paths. You create shortcuts in the segment builder, and those same curated attributes are available in both the attribute and filter workflows for activation enrichment, keeping attribute definitions consistent across your organization.

**Where:** This change applies to Data 360 in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** This functionality is available starting in September 2026.

**How:** In Data 360, create attribute shortcuts in the segment builder. Then, when you create or edit an activation, select those shortcuts from the activation canvas to add attributes or apply filters.
